By way of a little background. I am event management lecturer teaching the next generation of event managers the ‘how to’ of successful events. The students are all mature students, generally already in work but looking to either enter the events industry or further their event management skills.
It’s my honour and pleasure to provide a few words of recommendation for Chris Powell.
Chris Powell has been a lecturer with the Fitzwilliam Institute for many years. Chris plays an integral part and is our lead lecturer on the event management diploma course held each year in Kings College, London.
Chris is an outstanding educator who empowers his students; year on year feedback from our students reflects the same. Chris is patient, positive, confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills of a seasoned lecturer and possess a wealth of experience in the event management arena.
As part of the Diploma, students must complete a real-life practical event management project brief. A project lead is required for this part of the course and we are lucky to have Chris in situ for the role.
I have worked with Chris, for over 10 years and I found him to be extremely professional, he has showcased superb qualities and is a fully qualified individual. Chris is a pleasure to work with and is a complete asset to the team. We are very fortunate to have him.
Would I recommend him?
Absolutely 100%. I would not only recommend him to help train up the next generation of event planners but also to any organisation wanting to run successful events. He really knows events.
