Enterprise M3 seeks to promote enterprise and economic growth in mid and north Hampshire and South West Surrey. They wanted to run a conference for 200+ business leaders in their region. They were looking for someone with event management expertise in the business events sector to design, plan and deliver the conference. We got a call.
So, how did I help?
Having delivered a variety of business events before, I met the Enterprise M3 Director to discuss her vision and conference expectations and importantly, to gain a clear understanding of whom she thought was the target audience. Working alongside the Director I set about writing a project plan, sourcing a suitable venue, seeking opportunities for partnership, devising a speaker programme, determining sales messages, sourcing, contracting and liaising with contractors, helping to plan the visitor promotional strategy, setting up and managing a visitor registration system, devising and delivering a seminar programme, speaker liaison, writing the event risk assessment and event managing the build, event and break down of the site.
The conference attracted over 200 delegates from a wide cross section of businesses and the feedback has been universally positive and so planning for the next one has already started!
