Chris Powell, the director of The Event Expert team, has been designing, planning and delivering events for over 17 years. He has been a local authority events manager and events director of a range of events and festivals, as well as helping a variety of organisations to deliver their events - as a freelance events manager.

Chris has now enlisted the help of other experienced events professionals from the corporate and public events world, who share his passion for delivering high-quality events.

The Event Expert team’s aim is to help individuals, businesses and public-sector officers to design and plan events - arts, awards, conferences, exhibitions, festivals, launches, parties, seminars and sports events - that deliver results, as well as inspire and engage their audience.

Event Management Coaching and Event Management Training

As an event management trainer and coach, Chris is engaged by a range of organisations and associations to deliver a variety of training courses for first-time events managers – right through to experienced events managers. With some 500 events successfully completed and over 2,000 events managers trained, you could say that Chris knows a thing or two about how to deliver successful events!
